Growing UP

Caleb has been telling us for months that he changed Jacob's diaper and he didn't mind.  So the other night, we put him to the test. i.e. we were being a little lazy on the couch.  It was about time for Jacob to go to bed so he needed one last diaper change.  We asked Caleb to get all the supplies and change his diaper.  Because he's the best Big Brother ever, he willingly grabbed exactly what he needed (including his brother).  Once Jacob was placed in the appropriate spot of the floor, he proceed to take his diaper off and wipe down his brother.  What he didn't anticipate was that Jacob is much more mobile now and very difficult to keep still.  So he had a little breakdown because Jacob wouldn't follow the rules, but he finally got him under control and changed a diaper all by himself!

On a Big Boy note, Jacob truly is getting more mobile.  He has been army crawling since Christmas, sitting up all by himself and finally decided to take the plunge and pull up all on his own.  While I was getting ready, Jacob was just crawling around like usual and decide the tub was the place to go!  So he scooted over to it and next thing I knew he was standing up ALL BY HIMSELF!  He was SOOOOOO proud of himself.  Almost to the point that he forgot what he was doing and about let go.  A baby head on tile would not have been fun, but luckily and once again, big brother was there just in case he feel backwards.  It has been such a joy watching these boys grow up together.
