Summer Fun @ The Moskowitz House

The best part about summer is all the wonderful things you get to do.  This summer we just enjoyed having a house!  We have spent so much time in our yard and just relished every moment of it.  It's amazing how wonderful a little bird's nest can be...watching the mommy and daddy dove lay on the nest and then see the chicks just eyeing you.  Now that Caleb is a little fish, the blow-up pool is getting a lot of use.  He has become very brave and finds all kinds of ways to jump into the pool.  It's great watching him become such a big boy.  Did I mention that I like to mow?  Yes I do!  After all these years of watching Dad mow 3+ acres who would've thunk I would like to mow!  It's about 2 hours of time to myself and I am happy that I get to do it.

TBall Season 2010

Caleb had a great TBall Season this Summer.  For some crazy reason, Austin & I decided to coach this 3-6 year old team.  It was definitely trying at times but it was great to watch the kids improve.  Caleb improved on his hitting the most.  He started off hitting the tee and ended up not touching the tee at all.  It was great to see him stick his tongue in his cheek (this is when you know he's serious) and swing the bat as hard as he could!  Not to mention watching his little body move with the massive helmet.  In the end, I think we all found a sport that we could enjoy together.  However, I'm not so sure I will coach again...

Caleb's 1st Day of Pre-K1

Caleb had his first day of Pre-K1 today and had a blast!  He was so excited to wear his "rooster" shirt and a belt.  At first I thought it was the wrong classroom because all the kids looked so old, but Caleb walked right in there and sat like a big boy.  I would say the hardest part for Mom is that Caleb now has a HOMEWORK folder!!!!  It was great getting home, sitting him at the table and completing his first homework assignment.  He promptly closed his folder and put it in a safe spot so he could take it to his teacher tomorrow.  Our Little Man sure is growing up!!

Henderson Boys Come To Town - Mother's Day 2010

Dad, Garett & Max came up to visit on Mother’s Day weekend. Carmen needed some time to herself before Baby #3 gets here so that was their present to her. In turn, it was a great present for me to have all my boys (and “men”) together. We also babysat Caleb’s best friend Trystyn and the boys just had a blast. Needless to say, Caleb was exhausted once they left.
