Caleb Skateboarding

well, we went to buy big boy underwear and we ended up with a skateboard and helmet. he has been using his xylophone and so mommy felt we should upgrade (of course a bike would have been the smarter purchaser). so needless to say he wants to ride his skateboard any chance he gets. we spent an hour or so outside just trying to figure it out so here is a little clip. he is just so funny to watch when he is learning a new trick. did we mention he has to bring the skateboard and helmet to bed with him? yes, he makes a special place for it next to the wall.

Caleb's 1st bloody nose

so i walked the dogs last night and when i came back Austin and Caleb were sitting on the couch...no shirt and a bloody napkin. apparently Caleb was goofing around and fell off his chair drawer onto some other item (neither of us were in the room). needless to say, his shirt was covered in blood and Caleb had a little knot on his nose. I was very proud of Austin for dealing with the blood...he can barely handle his own :)

Just for the record I was in the room and he was doing he best Beavis and Butthead imitation, by putting his shirt over his head. He tripped over his xylophone and I did not think anything about it because he popped up laughing, next thing I knew I saw him wiping his face and then blood. First real scary parent moment for me, I did good

big boy underwear

so we are about to embark on a new adventure! BIG BOY UNDERWEAR!! i spoke with his teachers this morning and they said that we could start bringing him in underwear and 4 changes of clothes. the cost of pull-ups is just getting out of control. plus he will be 3 in December and i feel he is just being lazy. we'll keep you posted!
