I had the great opportunity to spend some time with just the Henderson boys and girls this weekend.  As everyone is adjusting to having ANOTHER child, we all were able to enjoy one another in a way that we haven't been able to in quite some time.  Garett and I are excited about having a little sister while Max is excited to have a baby.  The boys did a wonderful job adjusting the first few days and so did Dad and Carmen.  By the way, CONGRATS to Carmen for enduring full labor pains with no meds...YOU GO GIRL! 

July 4th, 2010

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! This was a wonderfully eventful weekend. It started with a viewing of Twilight (<--awesome!) followed by a fun filled weekend of family and friends.

Caleb’s school hosted a July 4th Parade. The kids made their own flags and hats and sang Yankee Doodle Dandy. The beautiful blonde is his friend Abigail…apparently they are bf/gf on Thursdays only.

Austin’s brother, Ryan, and his girlfriend, Nicole, hosted a July 4th dinner. The food was wonderful and the company was even better. We ended the night with a game of Blew It. None of us had played in a while so it probably took us longer to figure out the game than it did to actually play the game.

On July 4th, we had the Hawk’s over for dinner. The kids enjoyed the kid pool and bounce house. McKinney was hosting Red, White & Boom so we got in our car, popped the lift gate and watched some fireworks. It was a very successful and safe 4th of July weekend!
